What is Work Force Housing?
Icon Avondale has committed to reserving 10% of the market-rate dwelling units at restricted rents intended to serve the working professionals of DeKalb County whose incomes are between 80% and 120% of AMI (area median income).
How can I qualify for Work Force Housing?
If you make $43,770-$75,400 per year (80-120% AMI), you can qualify for workforce housing at Icon Avondale. You will need to submit your most recent 60 days of official paystubs to determine if you qualify.

AMI is the Area Median Income. The current adjusted AMI for Icon Avondale is $75,400.
Which Floor Plans are eligible for income-based rates?
Icon Avondale offers 6 different floor plans for income-based rates. One Bedroom and Two Bedrooms are eligible floor plans. See our floor plan images at the top of this page.
What will my monthly rental amount be?

Are there any lease signing fees?
Yes, there will be a one-time $75 application fee per applicant and a one-time administrative fee of $200. Security deposits or bond equivalents ranging between $700-$2000 will be due at the move in.
